Advanced CO₂ Removal Solutions for Efficient Gas Processing
GASTEC’s CO₂ Removal System is engineered to reduce carbon dioxide concentrations from gas streams, improving gas quality while enhancing process efficiency and equipment reliability. Designed for demanding industrial environments, our systems are customized to meet specific process requirements, delivering dependable performance across a wide range of applications.
Whether integrated into natural gas processing, biogas upgrading, or industrial gas treatment facilities, our CO₂ removal solutions help customers achieve required gas specifications while optimizing operational performance.
Overview
Carbon dioxide is one of the most common contaminants found in industrial gas streams. Excessive CO₂ can reduce heating value, increase pipeline corrosion, affect downstream processing equipment, and prevent gas from meeting commercial or environmental specifications.
GASTEC’s CO₂ Removal System efficiently separates CO₂ from gas streams using proven gas treatment technologies selected according to the process requirements. Each system is engineered to provide reliable operation, high separation efficiency, and long term performance while minimizing operating costs and maintenance requirements. Depending on the application, the system may incorporate membrane separation, chemical absorption, adsorption, or other appropriate gas treatment technologies.

How the System Works?
The CO₂ Removal System separates carbon dioxide from the incoming gas stream through an engineered treatment process selected for the specific application. The untreated gas first passes through a pre treatment stage where contaminants such as liquids, particulates, or hydrocarbons may be removed to protect the separation equipment.
The conditioned gas then enters the CO₂ separation unit, where carbon dioxide is selectively removed from the gas stream. Depending on the selected technology, CO₂ is separated through membrane technology, chemical absorption using solvent systems, adsorption processes, or other suitable methods. The treated gas exits the system with significantly reduced CO₂ content, while the separated CO₂ stream can be recovered, processed, or managed according to project requirements.
