Our Product's Applications.
Oil & Gas
Upstream and midstream operators face CO₂ concentrations that vary well beyond nameplate design, threatening pipeline specification and compressor integrity. Our systems are built to hold sales-gas CO₂ content within contract limits across shifting reservoir conditions, protecting downstream infrastructure from corrosion and free-water dropout while keeping BTU value on spec.
Chemical
Feedstock purity drives yield. In chemical processing, trace CO₂ carried into downstream reactors can foul catalysts, disrupt reaction stoichiometry, and compromise product quality. Our removal systems are configured to hit ppm-level CO₂ targets, giving chemical producers the consistency their processes are engineered around.
Water
From municipal treatment to industrial water reuse, dissolved CO₂ affects pH balance, scaling potential, and downstream treatment chemistry. Our systems support water treatment operators in stabilizing CO₂ levels ahead of remineralization, softening, or discharge, reducing chemical dosing costs and protecting equipment from corrosion.
Mining
Mine ventilation, mineral processing, and ore leaching circuits all carry CO₂-related demands, from air quality compliance underground to process water chemistry at the plant. GASTEC systems are built for the duty cycles and remote-site logistics mining operations run on, delivering removal performance that holds up under continuous, high-throughput conditions.
LNG
Pre-treatment is where LNG plants are won or lost. CO₂ must be stripped to cryogenic-safe levels, typically below 50 ppm to prevent freeze-out and blockage in the liquefaction train. Our systems are engineered to meet these tight specifications reliably, protecting the coldbox and keeping liquefaction trains running at full capacity.
Power
Power generation, from natural gas combined-cycle to emerging low-carbon plants, requires CO₂ management strategies that don’t compromise plant efficiency or availability. Our systems are designed to integrate into new-build and retrofit power facilities, supporting emissions targets without imposing a parasitic load the plant can’t absorb.
